Evian
les Bains,
known of it's famous mineral water is situated on the
lake shore of Lake Geneva. This mundane bathing resort
offers a lot. There is a boulevard with two yacht havens,
many restaurants and shops and numerous old buildings.
A few years ago an old funicular railway from the ancient
spa centre up to the Royal Park gardens is restored again.
Twice a week there is an open market.
The Grand Prix National and Européen the fleurissement
classifies Evian les Bains with 4-stars. The boulevard
contains very beautiful flowers, plants, trees and has
sociable terrace and fountains.
Furthermore there is a lakeside swimming centre, 18 holes golf course
and thermal establishments.

Lausanne
is attainable in 30 minutes with the boat from Evian les
Bains. With the car it is approximately 80 kms drive.
Lausanne is not situated at Lake Geneva but higher on
a plateau. The boat arrives in Ouchy. Here can you find
the Olympic museum. A rack- and - pinion railway links Lausanne
with the Ouchy.
Lausanne is surrounded by slopes with vineyards, from the city
there is an unobstructed view too the Alps. In the old
city are many curiosities, such as the Gothic cathedral,
the geological museum, the archaeological museum and of
course many shops and restaurants

du Soleil
belongs to one of largest winter sport areas in the world.
The region covers 14 valleys streched out over France (Haute-Savoie)
and Switzerland (The Valais). It offers 650 kilometres of
slopes, more then 200 ski-lifts, 243 km of cross-country
skiing and 9 snowparks.
During summer a dozen of ski-lifts are in company to bring
hikers and moutainbikers over the Swiss and French mountain
tops.

Yvoire,
a small scenic mediaeval village situated on the French
shore of Lake Geneva The traffic free old part of town,
is a charming little lake side hamlet which still reflects
its feudal past.
With its 700 year old castle, ramparts and tower gates, (and
a few Roman ruins) Yvoire belongs to the Association of
the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
The garden of the five senses, belonging to the castle, is
worth while for visitors. It attracts annual about 40,000
visitors.

Chateaux
Chillon
is the most worth seeing castle of Switzerland. The construction
work lies on a rock along the coast of Lake Geneva, just
outside Montreux. The castle consists of 25 building units.
The origin of this castle returns up to the 9th century
when the bishops of Sion where lord and master. The fortress
served as from this time as a check point for traffic
by country and water.
Château Chillon has played a large role in the romantic
period of the 19th centuries. The visit of Lord Byron
has been a large influence on this. He was so impressed
about the destiny of François de Bonivard, who
was caught here, it inspired him to write the famous poem
"The prisoner of Chillon.
Montreux,
old, distinguished city, built on a slope, has many hotels
and other buildings in the style of "fin de siècle",
frequently built as palaces. Montreux is situated on to
the lakeshore of Lake Geneva and has a long beautiful
boulevard.
